EA’s College Football 25 had an explosive debut, according to Circana’s latest US sales report.
Before we delve deeper, it’s important to note that this is the first game in EA’s football series in a decade, with the last one being NCAA Football 14 back in 2013. Fans were really eager for its return, and boy, did it deliver.
“Launch month dollar sales of EA Sports College Football 25 more than tripled the total lifetime dollar sales of the previous best-selling college football game, NCAA Football 07,” Circana analyst Mat Piscatella said.
In just one month, CFB 25 has rocketed to the top as the best-selling game of 2024 so far. Following closely are Helldivers II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and the EA Sports MVP Bundle. This bundle includes both CFB 25 and Madden NFL 25.
