Naked Rain and Netease have spilled more beans about their upcoming free-to-play gacha game, Anata, which used to go by the name Project Mugen.
In a fresh teaser that seems to nod to the first GTA 6 trailer, players get a glimpse of Nova City, where they will roam the streets as part of the Anti-Chaos Directorate. This game, much like Zenless Zone Zero, is drenched in anime vibes and lets you dive into an “open-world urban RPG” to battle Chaos forces. The official description paints a picture of Nova City teetering into Chaos, with oddities like spooky events and toilets zooming through traffic, promising a quirky mix of humor, adventure, and mystery.
With a peek at the trailer, players can expect to face off against peculiar enemies such as sentient toilets and cars wielding chainsaws. Characters can move through the city using various vehicles, and they might even swing or sneak around, reminiscent of Insomniac’s Spider-Man games.
Fans can’t wait to see how this unfolds!
The game’s combat lets you use the environment to your advantage, and there are plenty of ways to relax between missions, from hitting the pubs to working out at the gym. While Anata will be available on PC, PS5, and iOS, the release date is still under wraps.
