Red Candle Games has announced that Nine Sols will be available on PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox starting November 26.
The story of Nine Sols centers on Yi, a brave hero determined to dethrone the nine tyrannical rulers of New Kunlun known as Sols. Described as “Taopunk,” the game’s visual style is a blend of cyberpunk and eastern fantasy. Though the game includes tough parrying mechanics, players can tweak the damage settings to make the experience more manageable.
In the past, Red Candle Games was known for horror titles like Detention and Devotion. Nine Sols, however, is a vibrant and colorful platformer, marking a significant shift from their previous work.
After being crowdfunded in 2022, Nine Sols made its debut on PC this May. It currently holds a score of 83 on Metacritic.
