Assassin’s Creed Invictus: Fall Guys-Inspired, 16-Player Support

-

There’s a new multiplayer game in the Assassin’s Creed series called Invictus, and it’s said to be like Fall Guys with up to 16 players.

Ubisoft introduced Assassin’s Creed Invictus back in 2022 along with other projects from the series, but they haven’t shared many details since. A leaker known as

has now hinted at what the game might be about.

j0nathan suggests that in Assassin’s Creed Invictus, players will face off in rounds similar to Fall Guys, with the goal of being the last assassin standing. There will be different game modes, including Team Deathmatch and a race mode where players try to reach points on the map first. Survivors of each round can choose power-ups to build their character’s abilities during the session.

The maps in these games will be inspired by previous Assassin’s Creed settings, like Baghdad from Mirage or a Japan-based map from the upcoming Shadows. Some maps will even have hazards, like rising lava near Pompeii.

Players can select characters from the series, with j0nathan mentioning characters like Ezio from Assassin’s Creed 2 and Cesare Borgia from Brotherhood.

Fans should be cautious and wait for Ubisoft to confirm these details, but this is what we know so far about Invictus.

Earlier this year, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed they are working on remakes of older Assassin’s Creed games. He also spoke against the online harassment targeting the creators of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which features a playable Black samurai named Yasuke, based on a real historical person. Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be out on November 12.
