Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be a treat for those who love smashing and stabbing digital foes.
Beyond that, it seems the game will also appeal to those with a knack for designing. A fresh feature in this game is a base-building mode, where players can construct their own headquarters and tweak it to their liking. In a video shared by IGN China (spotted by Eurogamer), Ubisoft explained that players would have a large plot of land to set up their base. The video, now removed, showed how easy it is to place and rotate buildings and paths to create a cozy spot for the main characters, Yasuke and Naoe.
In previous Assassin’s Creed games, players had places they could regularly visit. For example, in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, there was a settlement in England named Ravensthorpe. Here, players could improve their base, adding new buildings and getting better gear from merchants.
We always love it when games let us be creative.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to release on November 15 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This comes four years after Valhalla, which launched alongside the new PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Meanwhile, there are also several remakes of Assassin’s Creed games being worked on. One of the spin-offs, Assassin’s Creed Invictus, is rumored to be a multiplayer game inspired by Fall Guys.
