Bethesda’s Indiana Jones Game Denounces Nazis

-

Indiana Jones has been battling Nazis since his first adventure hit the big screen in 1981.

The new game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, continues this theme, with Bethesda making it clear that the game does not support or glorify Nazi or fascist beliefs. The developers, MachineGames, included a statement that reads: “The story and contents of this game are not intended to and should not be construed in any way to condone, glorify, or endorse the beliefs, ideologies, events, actions, persons, or behavior of the Nazi and fascist regimes, nor any other regimes or to trivialize any war crimes, genocide, and other crimes against humanity.”

Neo-Nazi activity is unfortunately seeing a rise again in places like Europe and America. While the Indiana Jones films, and now this game, mix fantasy with history, they never ignore the fact that Nazis are bad news. As always, Dr. Jones will handle them with his usual flair.

Kurt Indovina from GameSpot got an early peek at Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and he thinks it might be just as good as Dishonored. He said the game really captures what it means to be Indiana Jones, not just how it looks, which is exciting for both fans and anyone who loves adventures.

We love how Indiana Jones always stands up for what’s right.

Mark your calendars for December 9 when the game arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a PlayStation 5 version coming in 2025.
