BioWare is throwing a big party for Dragon Age Day with some exciting new stuff and nods to the past.
Fans have something cool to look forward to—a standalone character creator from Dragon Age: The Veilguard and a free armor set inspired by Dragon Age II. Plus, there’s an update on the way, bringing over 20 bug fixes, a tool for taking pictures during cutscenes, and fresh Qunari looks.
Dragon Age Day is like a special holiday made by fans, similar to N7 Day for Mass Effect lovers.
The coolest gift for gamers is the free version of the character creator. If you haven’t tried Dragon Age: The Veilguard yet, you can make your own Rook or Inquisitor and move them to the game later, just make sure you’re using the same platform.
Hawke’s armor from Dragon Age II is now yours to use for free, along with some body paint and a bloody nose detail. Once you download Patch 4 and finish The Singing Blade mission, these goodies will be in the Lighthouse.
Fans often feel like they are on an epic adventure with their favorite characters.

- Fixed saves not loading correctly on PC.

- Ultimate Ability no longer swaps to default.

- Warrior Rook’s shield throw hits as intended.
- Slaughter of Pillars Revenant now has a health bar.
- Achievement Progress doesn’t reset with a new Rook anymore.
- Camera issues fixed in The Demon’s Bargain quest on HDD.
- Camera issues fixed in Sea of Blood quest when backtracking.
- Viago now pays attention to Rook instead of being distracted by Teia.
- Photo Mode screenshots no longer blurry.
- Space bar no longer toggles settings in Photo Mode. (PC Only)
- Battle music continues during A Warden’s Best Friend quest.
- Music now plays during conversation with Lucanis in the Lighthouse.
- Lighting issue fixed in One Last Breath quest.
- Blocking issue fixed in Fire and Ice quest returning to Lighthouse.
- Blocking issue fixed in Blood of Arlathan quest when backtracking.
- UI issue with “New Item” highlight resolved.
- In Lost Friendship codex events now in correct order.
- Male British Inquisitor’s voice pitch corrected.
- German voice lines updated with accurate translations.
