Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Trailer Reveals New Features

-

Activision dropped a trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s multiplayer mode, giving fans a peek into what to expect this year.

The new “Omnimovement” system is showcased, described by Activision as a “holistic approach to redefine what Black Ops 6 movement really means.” The video also features glimpses of 16 brand-new maps that will be available at launch, as well as the return of Gunsmith and Classic Prestige. Check out the video for more details.

There’s a lot happening for Call of Duty this week. The Call of Duty Next event is on August 28, where many announcements and reveals are expected. Following that, the Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta kicks off on August 30. Initially, it’s only open to those who preorder or have Game Pass, but it will be available to everyone later.

Fans are always excited about new maps in multiplayer games.

Black Ops 6 releases on October 25. Even though Microsoft owns Call of Duty and Activision, PlayStation users will get access right away. Game Pass subscribers can also play it as part of their membership, but those with Game Pass Core or Standard won’t have access.

Besides multiplayer, Black Ops 6 includes a ’90s-themed campaign with conspiracy theories and alternate history—typical for the Black Ops series. The Zombies mode by Treyarch is back too, featuring its classic round-based gameplay format.
