Even though Randy often hints about the game, not much is clear about Borderlands 4 yet. We’ve seen a few things, like a picture of a new planet, but who players will control, who the bad guy will be, and whether Claptrap’s party will finally have guests is still a big secret.

Some fans have seen nothing of the game, but a sick fan named Caleb McAlpine got a special look because Gearbox wanted to make his wish come true.
We heard about Borderlands 4 officially back in August during Gamescom’s opening night, and it’s coming out in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Take-Two Interactive, the company behind the game, wants to make sure there’s enough time between this game and GTA 6 so they both sell well.
