If you’re feeling like your favorite assault rifle in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 isn’t as strong after the Season 1 update, you’re not alone.
Treyarch, the game’s developer, is currently investigating problems with the weapon’s “damage range values.”
, the Call of Duty Updates account shared that they are looking into the assault rifle’s performance issues. Moreover, a Trello card mentions Treyarch is working to restore the rifles to their original damage capabilities. A Reddit post even expressed confusion over what happened to these weapons.
The start of Black Ops 6 Season 1 brought a hefty update size of 74GB on Xbox and 50GB on PlayStation. Interestingly, the patch notes included a boost for assault rifles’ power in Hardcore mode, which caught some players off guard.
Season 1 isn’t just about changes to rifles. Players of Modern Warfare 3 found their double XP tokens transferred to Black Ops 6, and this was also true for those from Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. Plus, Zombies mode now allows players to purchase Gobblegums with real money.
People sometimes surprise us. A gamer managed to reach Prestige 1 in Black Ops 6 without eliminating anyone, sticking to a non-violent strategy since Black Ops Cold War in 2020.
