Sledgehammer Games is said to be heading the development of Modern Warfare III, with support from Activision’s network of Call of Duty development studios. Operators, guns, and purchases from MW2/Warzone will reportedly carry forward to the new game.
The 2022 release of Modern Warfare II reached $1 billion in revenue in just 10 days, setting a record for the series. With all Call of Duty games now developed on the same engine, fans can expect Modern Warfare III to feel similar to Modern Warfare II and Warzone.
According to Insider-Gaming, early access to the Modern Warfare III campaign will start on November 2. Beta weekends are scheduled for October 6-10 (for PlayStation) and October 12-16 (for everyone).
