There’s been some chatter about a potential Call of Duty: Warzone and Halo team-up that didn’t happen.
Word on the street from The Ghost Of Hope, who’s spilled the beans on Call of Duty secrets before, is that there was supposed to be a Master Chief collab for MWIII, but it got dropped for reasons nobody knows. CharlieIntel, a big name in Call of Duty news,
.
The Ghost Of Hope even posted a picture, but it’s a mystery if it’s real or just a fan-made design. If this crossover had happened, we might have seen cool Halo stuff like Master Chief, Energy Swords, and Halo’s famous assault rifle in the game.
Some folks are guessing that maybe this DLC was held back from Modern Warfare III to show up in Black Ops 6 later, but there’s nothing solid to prove it yet. Black Ops 6 is coming out on October 25, but it won’t use skins from Modern Warfare III.
Both Call of Duty and Halo belong to Microsoft. They’ve done crossovers before, like when Fallout showed up in Call of Duty, and remember when Master Chief joined Fortnite?
Oh, and speaking of Halo, the franchise is now under the banner of Halo Studios. They’re cooking up some new games using Unreal Engine 5. Can’t wait to see what’s next for Halo!
