Call of Duty Server Outage Resets Player Stats & Progression – Latest Update

-

Oh boy, where do I start? So, there’s been a bit of a kerfuffle with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone lately. Players are hitting snags left, right, and center. We’re talking server issues that mess with pretty much everything – multiplayer, Zombies, you name it. And guess what? Activision’s on it, sort of. They’ve piped up about the mess, hinting that even Modern Warfare 2 could catch this cold. But hey, before you dive in, here’s the skinny. [Heads up: They’ve fixed the issues now.]

You could still try your luck, jumping into Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone matches. But, uh, maybe don’t hold your breath? Besides the headache of finding a match, players have been dealing with reset stats, glitchy weapon progression, and poof! There goes your battle pass and event progress.

Activision’s not blind to the chaos. They’ve made a peep on Twitter via the official Call of Duty Updates handle, saying they’re on a fix. But, they’ve also waved a little caution flag about “unusual behavior” with account levels and loadouts. No word on when things will be back to normal, so maybe take a rain check on playing for now.

#MW3 #Warzone #ModernWarfareZombies #MW3RankedPlay – That’s the tweet that got everyone’s antennas up. They’re scrambling to sort out a glitch that popped up out of nowhere, messing with game progress across the board. Think events, challenges, Battle Pass, and SR. Players are, understandably, a tad frustrated.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, Activision pulled the plug on Ranked Play for both multiplayer and Warzone. Even Zombies mode got the boot, along with Champion’s Quest in Warzone. Talk about hitting pause on the fun.

But wait, there’s more. If you’re chilling with MW2, don’t think you’re safe. Activision’s dropped a hint that you might be in for a bumpy ride too.

Oh, and amidst all this server chaos, there’s been a spike in cheaters. Classic, right? But Activision swears their Ricochet anti-cheat system is still kicking butt. They’ve even booted over 6,000 accounts between February 16 and 20. Take that, cheaters!

Amidst the turmoil, Season 2 of Call of Duty is chugging along in MW3 and Warzone. And get this – the midseason “Reloaded” update is just around the corner. We’re talking two new weapons, extra multiplayer maps, fresh Zombies content, and a sprinkle of new Warzone features. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly, huh?
