A fresh update rolled into Call of Duty: Warzone on December 19, bringing the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event with it.
In this update, players can snag the cool AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle for free by diving into Black Ops 6 or Warzone, all thanks to the festival. CharlieIntel mentioned this new weapon is also up for grabs in the store as a bundle. The patch notes share some tweaks to the game sounds. They made enemy footsteps louder while turning down the noise of your own footsteps. Plus, they toned down the echo effects for everyone. We think making games sound just right makes them way more fun.
Some adjustments were also made to weapon rules. The CHF Barrel is not allowed on the AMR Mod 4, but you can now use it with the COR 45 pistol and the Saug submachine gun when in akimbo mode.
Bug fixes are included too! Santa’s aim was off in Holiday Rush, but now he’s got his groove back. Also, a sneaky trick that let players use perks they shouldn’t have is no more.
