Classic Star Wars Game Arrives on Modern Consoles

-

Aspyr is bringing back another beloved Star Wars game, and it’s called Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles.

If you’re curious about the action, check out this trailer from Aspyr that teases the excitement of this classic arcade-style game:

In this game, we get to relive the story of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, but with a twist. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn team up to battle the Trade Federation’s battle droids, hoping to save Naboo. But unlike the movie, you can also play as characters like Mace Windu, Plo Koon, and Adi Gallia. There are even more characters to unlock, like Queen Padme Amidala, Captain Panaka, Ki-Adi Mundi, a battle droid, and Darth Maul.

What’s cool is that this game lets you choose lightsaber colors that match the movies or stick with the original game colors. It even includes a fun Big Head Mode and other cheats. You can team up with friends in co-op mode or challenge them in Versus mode.

Fans love when old games get a new life, don’t we?

Mark your calendars for January 23, 2025, when Jedi Power Battles arrives on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Just like with other Aspyr games, there’s a chance we might see a physical copy through Limited Run Games.
