Get ready because the final week of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta is starting soon, and there’s a fresh update to go with it. The update makes some big changes, like adjusting how fast weapons move and weakening the Jackal PDW submachine gun that was too powerful last weekend.
This weekend, players can level up from 20 to 30, unlocking new weapons, perks like Ninja and Cold-Blooded, and cool equipment. Speed changes are happening for all weapons too, with sniper rifles getting a 100ms swap speed boost, and other weapons getting a 50ms boost. Treyarch suggests trying out the Fast Hands perk for even quicker swaps.
Fans might feel the changes are good, but we will have to wait and see.
The movement speeds for different weapons are being fine-tuned. Treyarch says these changes ensure that weapon classes feel balanced and fair during battles. They’re also speeding up melee sprint speeds so players with melee weapons can keep up with others using guns.
Last weekend, the Jackal PDW was too strong, especially at medium ranges. So, it’s getting a nerf with reduced damage and increased recoil. But don’t worry, a new submachine gun, the Tanto .22, is available for testing.
Spawn points have been adjusted based on feedback from the first weekend. Treyarch tweaked the spawn logic to add more valid spawns and reduce frequent spawn flipping on several maps. They aim to make spawns more predictable and give players more time to react after respawning.
