CoD Black Ops 6 Introduces Accessibility Options & Arachnophobia Setting

-

Just before Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hits stores on October 25, Activision has shared some cool new features for players who need extra help with the game.

They really want everyone to enjoy playing, so they’ve added more ways to make the game easier to play, like special settings for the screen, sound, and even a change for people who don’t like spiders in Zombies mode.

“With the launch of Black Ops 6, we’re excited to share even more accessibility updates and new features which will allow players to further customize their experience,” the publisher says.

Players can still use the same helpful tools from Modern Warfare 3, like changing how things look on the screen to stop motion sickness and making joystick controls better. But now, there are even more choices!

A neat addition is a feature to help players who hear differently in each ear. It lets them tweak the sound for each ear, which is super thoughtful for veterans and others who might have hearing troubles.

Recently, Activision talked about making the game sound more real and even added a way to soften loud noises that could bother some people. Plus, they didn’t forget about adding more ways to change how the game looks on the screen.

The High Contrast mode is back from Modern Warfare 3, making it easier to see who’s who during the game. Now, this feature can be used in both the main story and Zombies mode.

The High Contrast mode is even better because you can pick the colors for the outlines, which is great for players who have trouble seeing certain colors. There’s also a “Dark Background” option to make things stand out more.

Another cool thing is how you can change the way the game’s display looks, like moving things around and changing colors on the minimap. If the map is too busy, players can try the Target Tracker or Central Command options to clear things up.

In Zombies, there are these creepy spider enemies, but if you’re scared of spiders, you can switch on a setting that takes away their legs. They’ll still act the same, but they’ll look less creepy, though we’re not sure how this affects aiming at them.

For those who play alone in Zombies, you can now pause and save your game, but remember, this only works if you’re at full health when you save. This is helpful because sometimes we just need a break.

“With the return of round-based Zombies, gameplay is guaranteed to be fast-paced and intense, so providing the ability to pause or save a solo game and return later can make all the difference in gameplay for some players,” Activision says.

And guess what? The special controllers for Xbox and PlayStation will work perfectly with Black Ops 6, no setup needed.

Black Ops 6 is coming out on October 25 for all the big consoles and PC. Don’t miss out on learning about player progression and other cool stuff like maps and weapons right at the start of the game.
