The latest installment, Black Ops 6, is now out, bringing with it fresh features like 16 new maps for multiplayer, 33 weapons to discover and upgrade, and a cool new movement system from Treyarch.
Master the new movement system
Even though Black Ops 6 keeps your feet on the ground, its movement capabilities are the most advanced since the days of jetpacks. You can always jump into the training course found in the multiplayer menu to get a handle on how to move in all directions and to sharpen your skills further.
Tweak your settings
This game lets you customize more things than ever before, thanks to the Intelligent Movement system. You can adjust settings like tactical sprint assist and remove sprint delays, making the controls smoother and less tiring for your thumbs.
Also, consider changing the default visual settings by turning off motion blur, film grain, and depth of field for clearer gameplay.
There are special settings for those with Tinnitus, vision problems, or even fear of spiders in Zombies mode.
If you’re playing on a console, we’ve got a settings guide to help you out on PlayStation or Xbox.
Use your ears and talk to your team
Wearing a headset can make a big difference, as it helps you hear enemy steps and locate them more easily.
Talking to your team is key when playing modes that need teamwork. But if you’re shy, the game has a ping system using the D-pad to share info with your team.
Join forces with friends
Sometimes, playing alone can be tough, especially when random players don’t help with objectives. Teaming up with a couple of friends can improve your chances of winning or at least make losing more fun together.
Design your own loadouts
Black Ops 6 makes it easier to tweak your weapons as you level up. These “global weapon builds” mean that once you set up a weapon, you can use it across different modes without rebuilding it each time.

Pick the right scorestreaks
Black Ops 6 focuses on scorestreaks, so you won’t lose your progress when you die. Helping your team by capturing points or using support tools can earn you points.
If getting kills is tough for you, using non-lethal streaks like UAVs and Counter-UAVs can still rack up points.
But if you’re feeling aggressive, try the Chopper Gunner and Dreadnought streaks for some explosive fun.
Boost your XP fast
The Prestige system is back, offering cool rewards for leveling up. To climb the ranks quickly, play modes that focus on objectives like Capture the Flag.
Support streaks like UAVs and HARP give good XP, and using perks like Dispatcher will help you earn even more.
