CoD Black Ops 6 Season 1 Battle Pass Unpopular Change

-

Yesterday, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone launched their first season update, bringing new features and a battle pass filled with cosmetic goodies.

You can still snag those cool DLC weapons in the free tiers, but if you crave more eye-catching items, you’ll need to spend 1,100 CoD Points (about $10) for the regular pass or $30 for the ultra-fancy BlackCell bundle. The tiers are brimming with flashy cosmetic stuff, XP boosters, and more CoD Points to earn back.

Previously, the standard pass felt like a steal because with an investment of 1,100 CoD Points, completing all the levels would return 1,400 CoD Points, giving you a bonus of 300 CoD Points. This could either be saved or spent on something else.

Now, with Black Ops 6, the battle pass offers only 1,100 CoD Points back. It covers your initial spend, but it’s disappointing to get less now, and it might make some players less eager to buy.

We sometimes feel that fewer rewards make the game less exciting.

Check out the Season 1 battle pass highlights! You get Sevati “Sev” Dumas as a playable character, cool weapon blueprints, and Gobblegums for Zombies mode.

On the bright side, any leftover double XP tokens from Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have been carried over to Black Ops 6, making leveling up and Prestiging quicker than before.
