On November 8, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 received a small update that tweaked multiplayer and Zombies, and made changes to the Recon Combat Specialty bonus.
This powerful feature let players see enemies through walls for a bit after they respawned, marking them in red. Initially lasting 2 seconds, it was cut to 1.5 seconds in a previous patch, but that wasn’t enough, so now it’s just 1 second long. Treyarch also fixed problems with how XP was given out, like match bonuses not being calculated right in different modes and not always showing up in Search and Destroy.
The multiplayer part of Black Ops 6 got a refresh with new playlists. Stakeout 24/7 is back, and there’s a new 10v10 Moshpit that mixes games like Team Deathmatch and Domination on the usual 6v6 maps. In Zombies, an exploit that kept certain field upgrade effects active longer than they should have been was patched, as was a bug that let players send tactical rafts flying on Terminus.
As fans, we hope these changes make the game more fun and fair.
You can check out the full patch notes here. Season 1 is coming to both Black Ops 6 and Warzone on November 14, bringing new maps, weapons, a Zombies map, and integrating Black Ops 6 into Warzone.
For multiplayer updates, they fixed a bug on Lowtown where players could escape the map. The 10v10 Moshpit features maps like Nuketown and modes like Hardpoint. The Recon Combat Specialty now highlights enemies for just 1 second after respawning. As always, Treyarch is keeping an eye on feedback.
In Zombies, weapon issues with extra attachment indicators were fixed, and the Gunsmith issue where multiplayer loadouts appeared in Zombies was resolved. Exploits with field upgrades and vehicle antics were addressed, ensuring stability with various fixes.
