CoD Black Ops 6 & Warzone Patch Notes: Fixes & Nuketown 24/7 Return

-

Just one day into Season 1 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the developers have already rolled out updates to tweak things around.

The latest patch notes, dated November 15, reveal some fixes across various game modes. However, players might be disappointed as the legacy XP tokens from Black Ops 6 have been pulled out. Treyarch clarified that the appearance of these tokens was a mistake—they were meant for Warzone only.

Good news for those who enjoy multiplayer: Nuketown 24/7 has returned, now available in both core and Hardcore playlists.

Maps like Hideout and Payback had some sneaky exploits that let players wander outside the game area, but these have been fixed. Plus, there was a glitch with the Ghost Perk that stopped it from being used after unlocking it, but that’s sorted now.

For the zombie enthusiasts, the new Directed Mode is now in private matches when squad-fill is off. They also addressed issues that made the game less stable and closed an exploit in the Terminus map’s Treasure Hunt side quest, which was letting players gather too much essence.

Warzone’s changes are fewer, with the most notable being an increase in custom loadout slots from 10 to 12.

Bug fixes include correcting a pricing error at Buy Stations and fixing the AEK-973 rifle’s firing mode. The full patch notes are available through Black Ops 6 and Warzone on Activision’s site.

Meanwhile, some players are talking about the Season 1 battle pass being a bit of a letdown compared to previous ones. It features an emote that seems to nod to the viral Raygun moment from the Paris 2024 Olympics.
