There’s a fresh update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, revealing exciting details about the new Hit List event, with Rebirth Island making another appearance in Warzone.
Players can dive into the Hit List event now in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, tackling challenges to snag rewards like the new drill melee weapon and the Shadow perk for multiplayer.
Black Ops 6 multiplayer just got a revamp with the return of the beloved 10v10 moshpit playlists for both core and Hardcore modes. Plus, maps like Hideout, Extraction, and Protocol are now in the 10v10 rotation.
Zombies enthusiasts, rejoice! The update fixes a problem that slowed players down when reloading during a sprint and ensures the “Box Addict” Dark Ops challenge tracks correctly.
Rebirth Island is back in Warzone once more. It first showed up right after Season 1 began, but vanished quickly due to map issues. Now, with better lighting and sound, it’s ready for action again.
The game creators thanked everyone for their patience, explaining, “We wanted to take the necessary time to address key issues and make improvements to ensure the best possible experience.”
This update also tweaks XP across Warzone modes. Player XP in standard battle royale and Plunder is up, while weapon XP sees changes in Plunder and Resurgence modes.
A notable tweak is the boost to the Stim Shot tactical equipment, extending its speed boost from one to three seconds.

Recently, an update brought back the Legacy XP tokens to Black Ops 6, and Activision mentioned that buying Black Ops 6 grants a 30% XP boost in Warzone.

- XP Balancing

- Enhanced Weapon XP in Plunder and Resurgence
We’ve made some tweaks to Player and Weapon XP to make earning rates more even across different modes.
- Stim Shot
- The speed boost duration has been increased from 1 second to 3.
When Warzone launched, we spotted a big issue and cut down the speed and duration of Stim Shots while we sorted it out. Our aim is to give a meaningful speed boost with a clear limit, ensuring balanced gameplay. Right now, both Resolute and Stim Shot offer a 15% speed boost each, maxing out at 20% when combined. This lets players try different combos for the best results.
- Deployable Box Interaction Speed
- Removed a delay that stopped players from interacting with the Armor/Munitions/Utility Box when first deployed.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed a bug on Area 99 where Killstreaks could be heard from across the map.
- Resolved an issue causing players to drop a weapon involuntarily when picking up another from the ground.
- Fixed a prompt that asked players to remove an Aftermarket Part from their weapon even when none was equipped.
- Fixed an issue where the STB 556 Assault Rifle body vanished when an underbarrel attachment was equipped.
