The Season 5 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile is dropping this week.

Expect the update to be available on Wednesday, August 21, starting at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST for all platforms.
What to expect from Season 5 Reloaded
In Season 5’s free battle pass tiers, players got the Static-HV submachine gun and the STG assault rifle. Now, with this midseason update, you’ll get a new spear melee weapon and the Torque 35 launcher. You can unlock these weapons by completing in-game challenges.
From August 21 to August 28, there’s the Wildlife Most Wanted Field Rep event. It’s an XP event with extra rewards if you use any animal-head operators from the Wildlife-themed bundles.
Then, there’s the Emotional Overdrive Field Rep event from September 12 to September 18. Equip the Emoting Ultra Skin bundle for additional XP boosts during this event.
New shop bundles include a crossover with The Crow, a punk rock-themed bundle for Ghost, and the Call of Duty League “Playmaker Pack”.Modern Warfare 3
There’s a new cel-shaded “Ink House” map variant for the Stash House map in Season 5 Reloaded. Expect more game modes too, like Cyber Attack from MW2019’s Search and Destroy variant and a paintball mode. Plus, there’s Fishfection mode where players turn into cats and fish for an epic showdown.
We can’t wait to see how players will react to these changes!
For Zombies fans, there’s an exciting final story mission in this update. Completing it rewards you with a cinematic ending and the first item needed for a new Dark Aether rift Easter egg. Finish the rift to unlock one of three schematics:
- Disciple Bottle: Summons a friendly Disciple who helps by brainrotting zombies and teleporting when needed
- Grenade Bandolier: Replenishes lethal and tactical equipment over time so you can bombard enemies endlessly
- Stash Increase: Expands your stash size to 30 slots
Warzone
Rebirth Island gets Supreme Resurgence mode which focuses on high-tier ground loot including powerful weapon blueprints with flashy camos from MW3.
The Elite contract debuts too. This offers higher rewards but with shorter time limits across all maps and modes. Rewards include XP, cash, and items like Foresight Killstreak or Advanced UAV.

There’s also a new Recon Flyover public event featuring waves of Advanced UAVs scanning populated areas.
