CoD Warzone MW3 Season 6 Release Date Details

-

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are gearing up for Season 6 next week.

Call of Duty Season 6 start times

Activision has set the launch for Wednesday, September 18, with updates rolling out at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST on all systems.

What to expect from Season 5

With every new season comes a fresh battle pass, featuring new operators and a couple of weapons in its free tiers.

This season centers around the spooky “The Haunting” event, packed with nighttime maps, zombie-themed modes, and eerie operator skins.

The Season 6 trailer shows off a nighttime Rebirth Island, zombies content, and the comeback of Michael Myers, who debuted in Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC.

The creepy operator skins shown in the trailer include:

  • Michael Myers
  • The scarecrow from Trick ‘R Treat
  • Art the clown from the Terrifier movies
  • Simon “Ghost” Riley as a three-headed monster
  • Makarov with a chilling Smile movie grin
  • Bubby, the Burger Town mascot

Michael Myers appears alongside Farah in the Season 6 key art, hinting he might be a battle-pass unlock, while other horror skins will likely be in-store bundles.

In past seasons, players have enjoyed events with free cosmetic rewards like camos and weapon blueprints. Expect more of the same in Season 6, along with aftermarket parts and weekly challenges.

Modern Warfare 3

For MW3 multiplayer, nothing specific has been confirmed yet. However, The Haunting usually brings zombie-themed modes like Hordepoint and Infected.

Season 5 wrapped up the final Zombies story mission for the Dark Aether narrative, so new content might revolve around new schematics and Dark Aether rift unlocks.

Warzone

The trailer has only confirmed a spooky nighttime version of the Rebirth Island map for battle royale. Maybe Warzone will revive older zombies modes like Vondead and Zombie Royale.

With Season 6 kicking off mid-September, it could overlap with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s launch on October 25. Details about Black Ops 6 include its campaign, Zombies mode, and integration with Warzone’s new Area 99 map.

We always look forward to these seasonal updates, don’t we?

Spooky times ahead for Call of Duty fans!
