Activision’s up to something. They’re sending out mysterious packages to a select few Call of Duty: Warzone content creators. The aim? To tease the return of the fan-favorite Fortune’s Keep Resurgence map for Season 2.
One such streamer, Majin, gave us a sneak peek. He tweeted a photo of a wooden Call of Duty crate, teasing that Season 2 will “KEEP” the vibes going. Interesting, huh?
But what’s inside the crate? Majin opened it up to reveal a small model of the map’s Winery point of interest. The model suggests some landscape changes are on the horizon. It shows the ground busted up and splitting through the winery building.
A bit of history for you. Fortune’s Keep first showed up in 2022 during Season 4 of Vanguard. It was the Resurgence map, paired with Warzone’s larger Caldera map. This year’s Call of Duty Next event had developers announcing Fortune’s Keep would be back in 2024.
But when exactly? That’s the big question. We don’t know if the map will return at the start of the new season or during the midseason “Reloaded” update. It’s all a bit hush-hush.
Looking ahead, Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is set to launch on February 7. There’s a lot of chatter about what’s coming in the big update. And in the meantime? Season 1 Reloaded is live in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. It even features a crossover event with The Boys TV show. So, lots to look forward to!
