Concord Stays in Amazon’s New Video Game TV Show Despite Shutdown

-

Concord, the hero shooter, shut down after just two weeks, making it one of the biggest failures in recent gaming memory.

Despite this, the game will live on as part of Prime Video’s TV show, Secret Level, which comes out on December 10. Announced at Gamescom in August, Secret Level is an anthology series with animated shorts from various game worlds like God of War, The Outer Worlds 2, and Warhammer 40K. Concord is one of the 15 franchises involved, and a source confirmed to IGN that it will still be included in the show.

The series will also bring new stories from older franchises, including Mega Man and Unreal Tournament. A brief clip in the trailer made people think Keanu Reeves might appear in the Armored Core episode, but that’s not confirmed. Recently, he was revealed as the voice of Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

We wonder how fans feel about the uncertain future of Concord. Before the game was shut down on September 6, some players were reportedly trying to get the platinum trophy by making their characters die on purpose.
