Controversial Black Ops 6 X-Ray Vision Perk Under Review by Treyarch

-

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has stirred up some drama because Treyarch is thinking about changing a special ability called the Recon three-perk bonus.

When players respawn, this perk lets them spot enemies through walls and leaves no marks when they defeat an opponent, but only if they also have Vigilance, Engineer, and Ghost perks.

, and Matt Scronce, who’s part of the team, responded with just one word.

The game comes with smaller maps that work well with the new Omni-movement system, making the Recon-three perk a pretty big deal for those who use it cleverly. But on the internet, lots of players are upset because they feel like their opponents can see the future, especially on the popular Nuketown map. And honestly, fans sometimes feel like games can get pretty tricky when players use sneaky tricks like flashbanging teammates to rack up easy points.

Available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 had a great start on Xbox Game Pass. Data from the Call of Duty HQ app showed that over half of Xbox Series X|S users and about a third of PS5 users jumped into the game right away, making it a wild day for Xbox players.

Looking to the future, players should get ready for Black Ops 6 Season 1 on November 14, when a new Call of Duty: Warzone map called Area 99 will also make its debut.
