Dead by Daylight’s collaboration with Alien, featuring a Xenomorph and Ellen Ripley, has a confirmed release date of August 29. A new trailer has been released, showcasing the Nostromo map and setting the tone for the event. Developer Behaviour Interactive has provided more information about the Xenomorph and Ripley’s abilities and perks within the game.

The Xenomorph has the ability to access control stations, enter hidden tunnels, and locate nearby survivors with its Hidden Pursuit ability. It also has the Runner Mode ability, allowing it to move more quickly and quietly. The Xenomorph’s killer perks include Ultimate Weapon, Rapid Brutality, and Alien Instinct.

Ellen Ripley, on the other hand, has perks that showcase her cunning and ingenuity. These include Lucky Star, Chemical Trap, and Light Footed. Each perk helps her evade the Xenomorph in different ways, such as hiding in lockers, setting traps, and making her footsteps silent.

Behaviour Interactive is also working on two new games within the Dead by Daylight franchise. One is a narrative-driven game developed by Until Dawn studio Supermassive Games, and the other is a multiplayer game created by Scavengers developer Midwinter Entertainment.
