Destiny 2: Easy Access to Top Weapons at the Tower

-

Destiny 2 players noticed some intriguing changes when they logged in after the weekly reset.

When checking out Tess’ Eververse store, Guardians can spot a cool Street Fighter Blanka mask, but the real excitement is at Banshee-44’s place where some top-notch loot awaits. To get your hands on specific weapons, though, you need to have completed at least one dungeon, and certain ones for certain guns. Among the weapons, the Stasis grenade launcher called VS Chill Inhibitor is there, but only if you’ve conquered the Vesper’s Host dungeon. Similarly, the Indebted Kindness sidearm requires a victory in the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon.

Banshee-44, the Tower’s gunsmith, has some standout weapons with awesome perks on the second page of his menu. The Destiny 2 Team shared the full details of these perks on their Twitter account. They’re impressive and might become a weekly thing.

– Rose: Fluted Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, Explosive Payload, Smooth Grip, Handling MW
– Multimach: Polygonal Rifling + Tactical Mag + Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors + Reload MW
– Indebted Kindness: Smart Drift Control + Tactical Mag + Loose Change + Voltshot + Velocity MW
– Compass Rose: Corkscrew Rifling, Light Mag, Snapshot Sights, Slideshot, Handling MW
– Hothead (Adept): Hard Launch + Impact Casing + Tracking Module + Clown Cartridge + Reload MW
– VS Chill Inhibitor: Countermass + Spike Grenades + Envious Arsenal + Bait and Switch + Reload MW

“Starting Today, Banshee-44 has a small collection of weapons in the Tower with curated perk rolls. Our goal is to get you some perk combinations that were a bit harder to earn due to the RNG perk issue that was fixed in our previous update,” the post read.

Sometimes, we just love getting new gear with awesome perks!

Looking at these weapons, the Compass Rose build is insane, adding range and stability with Slideshot. The Hothead with Clown Cartridge is also a blast, as it randomly loads extra ammo. No word yet on when these will disappear, but they seem different from the usual weekly offerings Banshee has.
