Destiny 2 Xur Skimmer & Exotics Sale October 18-22

Once more, Xur has set up his store in Destiny 2, and he’s got some special gear for players.

This week, alongside his usual exotic weapons and armor, Xur is selling Xurfboards for zooming around, but they come with a hefty price tag of 97 Strange Coins. Previously, skimmers were only available during the Guardian Games, so now is a great chance to grab one. If you’re looking for weapon catalysts, Xur offers options for the Tractor Cannon and The Fourth Horseman. As for armor, Hunters can pick up the Celestial Nighthawk, Titans can snag Wormgod Caress, and Warlocks can purchase the Crown of Tempests. In the weapons department, you’ll find Hawkmoon, Arbalest, Coldheart, and DARCI.

Xur’s Hangout Spot

To find Xur, head over to the Tower. Start by turning right past Banshee-44, then make your way down the stairs. Follow the corridor until you reach the Bazaar and take a right into the alleyway. Hunters love this helmet because it helps recharge your Super faster when you hit precision shots. It changes your Golden Gun to a high-powered single shot that makes enemies go boom. It has a high intellect stat, but low recovery, discipline, and strength, so be careful! This helmet works well with the Still Hunt sniper rifle.

Xur has switched up his business style in The Final Shape. He now features two rotating Exotic weapon catalysts each week, focusing on older ones from before The Witch Queen. Xur won’t offer any catalysts that are tied to quests, Exotic missions, Season Pass Exotics, campaign Exotics, preorder Exotics, raid Exotics, or dungeon Exotics.

Additionally, Xur will have three random Exotic weapons for sale, plus Hawkmoon. His inventory still includes Legendary armor and weapons and engrams, offering random items from those pools. Like other vendors, Xur now has a reputation track, rewarding you with an Exotic Cipher after each rank reset as you spend more.

Moreover, after spending 47 Strange Coins, Xur’s loyalty program provides a Strange Favor buff. This buff lasts 11 days and can stack up to three times—once per week—boosting your chances of earning bonus Strange Coins from activities that reward you with them. Xur is available every weekend in Destiny 2, beginning with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday.
