Diablo 4 First Microsoft Game with Confirmed PS5 Pro Enhancement

-

Diablo IV is getting a boost on the PS5 Pro thanks to its extra power.

Rod Fergusson, the boss of Diablo at Blizzard, shared on social media that both Diablo IV and its expansion, Vessel of Hatred, will be getting a special upgrade for the PS5 Pro. He proudly mentioned, “Very proud of our hardworking team to make this happen.” More information will be shared later.

Back in June 2023, Diablo IV hit the shelves for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, just before Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard wrapped up in October. Since then, Microsoft has also brought games like Sea of Thieves and Grounded to PlayStation.

It’s interesting that Diablo IV is the 55th game to get a PS5 Pro boost, and there’s a list of these games in the gallery below. The new Vessel of Hatred expansion is arriving on October 7, but whether the PS5 Pro upgrade will be ready then is still unclear.

The PS5 Pro itself, with a price tag of $700, arrives in November. It lacks a disc drive but can work with an $80 add-on, if you manage to find one. Preorders started on September 26, and while the console didn’t fly off the shelves, the 30th Anniversary edition sold out fast.
