Dragon Age: The Veilguard – No Spiders

-

In the world of games and stories, big spiders often show up, but not in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

In a Reddit post, a person from BioWare shared that there won’t be any spiders in The Veilguard, which is a big change since these creepy crawlies were everywhere in the earlier games like Origins and Inquisition. Nobody seems to have asked why the spiders are missing in the game. It’s like when Saint Patrick supposedly kicked all the snakes out of Ireland. If someone cleared out all the spiders in Thedas, maybe they deserve a celebration day too, even if it just means a fun, pretend party in the game.

Even though spiders are out, The Veilguard promises other scary foes. A gameplay video showed an intense fight between the hero Rook and a cursed dragon. Maybe the spider-slayer should have tackled the dragons first.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 31.
