Dragon Age Veilguard Alters Side Quests

-

This fall, Dragon Age: The Veilguard by BioWare and EA will show how Thedas has changed since Dragon Age: Inquisition.

According to IGN, co-directors Corinne Busche and John Epler shared a 22-minute gameplay video featuring a deep dive into the story. In this segment, the main character Rook helps his buddy Davrin with a revenge mission. They also take on side quests, like getting medical supplies for the Grey Wardens and finding their lost members, which blend smoothly into the main story.

The Crossroads isn’t safe anymore due to the war between Solas and the gods. Rook and his team must battle through it to reach Hossberg, now taken over by the Blight.

Darkspawn enemies are tougher because of the Blight, and Rook even dies but gets revived. The directors mentioned companions have more freedom in their stories. For instance, Davrin goes ahead on his own to face his enemy, the Gloom Howler.

Fans, it’s exciting to see companions have their own paths.

You can upgrade faction shops, including the Grey Warden’s, for better rewards. Areas are designed to be revisited for hidden secrets and treasures.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 31.
