Dragon Age Veilguard PC Specs Update & Ray-Tracing Details

-

Exciting news for gamers: the detailed PC requirements for Dragon Age: The Veilguard are now available, and there’s lots to unpack!

If you’re planning to play without ray tracing, here’s what you’ll need: at least an Intel Core i5-8400 or an AMD Ryzen 3 3000X processor, a Nvidia GTX 970/1650 or an AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card, and 16GB of RAM. The game will occupy a whopping 100GB of space. You can use an HDD at low settings, but an SSD is better.

For those aiming for high settings, the game demands a more powerful Intel Core i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, coupled with a Nvidia RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700XT graphics card. If you dare to go ultra, brace yourself for the need of a Nvidia RTX 4080 or AMD RX 7900 XTX GPU. Ray tracing, which makes the game look super cool, requires at least 10GB of VRAM and similar specs to high or ultra, depending on how clear you want the picture.

Fans appreciate BioWare’s decision to skip third-party DRM, meaning no pre-loading, but you can play offline. Michael Gamble, who worked on Mass Effect, shared on
