At Summer Games Fest 2024, EA and Full Circle had little to show for Skate, so they used a funny skit with Tim Robinson to introduce the game’s story.
But there’s finally some exciting news for fans eagerly waiting for the next installment in the series: Early access for Skate will be available in early 2025.
EA shared this announcement on Skate’s official X account, along with a super short 19-second teaser.

In a previous teaser, it was revealed that M-Corp, formerly MongoCorp, is leaving San Vansterdam. This allows players to transform the city into a skater’s dreamland.
If you want to join the early access, you can sign up through the Skate Insider site. PC players have already been playtesting, but EA hasn’t announced when console playtesting will start.
Skate will be different from the first three games in the series because it will be free-to-play and support cross-play between PC and consoles. There will also be a mobile version. Full Circle is working on the game for EA, and it is set to launch in 2025. In other news, Tony Hawk mentioned he’s been talking to Activision about the franchise’s 25th anniversary, so Skate might have some competition again.
