Fans Believe Sony Unveiled PS5 Pro Design

-

In an unexpected twist, it looks like Sony might have shown off the rumored PS5 Pro’s design.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary images released on September 5 have people buzzing. It seems one of the images shows a product that looks a lot like a leaked design for the PS5 Pro. If you check out the picture below, you’ll see a rectangle with lines that could be hinting at the PS5 Pro’s look. This image was first shared by Dealabs at the end of August, and now it’s making rounds again thanks to Wario64’s post on social media.

We should be cautious, though, as this isn’t a solid confirmation that we’re seeing the PS5 Pro. PlayStation’s anniversary blog post does hint at “more to come,” which might be pointing to a rumored State of Play event in September where they could reveal the PS5 Pro.

Leaked details about the PS5 Pro suggest it might have a “High CPU Frequency Mode” boosting the CPU by 10% to 3.85GHz. The GPU could be up to 45% faster, delivering much better ray-tracing effects. Fans, we all love some good tech upgrades, don’t we?

Recently, Hideo Kojima’s assistant posted a photo showing Kojima playing Death Stranding 2 with a mysterious, covered device. Many think this could be the PS5 Pro or a developer version of it. Also, an analyst mentioned that the PS5 Pro could be priced around $650.

Sony’s next big game, Astro Bot, is set to release on September 6 and has already received glowing reviews, including a 9/10 from GameSpot. On the flip side, Concord, another recent game, was shut down right after its launch.
