On November 12, the 7.1 update for Final Fantasy XIV, named Crossroads, is set to arrive with loads of fresh content.
In this new adventure, the Warrior of Light and their pals are on a mission to guide two worlds toward a brighter future. A big highlight is the first raid, a team-up with Final Fantasy XI called “Echoes of Vana’diel – Jeuno: The First Walk,” where up to 24 players can join the fun. Plus, there’s a fresh dungeon known as “Yuweyawata Field Station,” a trial called “The Minstrel’s Ballad: Sphene’s Burden,” and an intense eight-player ultimate raid titled “Futures Rewritten.”
If you’re into difficult quests, get ready for Chaotic Alliance Raids, which are tougher takes on existing raids. A week after sub-patch 7.15 hits, the “Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic)” raid will roll out. Unreal trials are old trials made tougher, and this time, it’s “The Jade Stoa” getting the upgrade.
There’s also something new for beginners: an update to the Hall of the Novice, featuring fresh combat training exercises. This patch is the first story update since the Dawntrail expansion dropped in July on various platforms. The game’s long-lasting fame is partly thanks to its Xbox release, which has Square Enix thinking about bringing more titles to Xbox later on.
Sometimes, fans just want more adventures to dive into and explore.
Here’s what Patch 7.1 brings: Crossroads main quests, a new alliance raid called Echoes of Vana’diel – Jeuno: The First Walk, and the Yuweyawata Field Station dungeon. There’s also The Minstrel’s Ballad: Sphene’s Burden trial, the Futures Rewritten ultimate raid, and the Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) raid coming after Patch 7.15. The Jade Stoa trial gets a makeover too. Other updates include Allied Society Quests – Pelupelu, Hildibrand Adventures, Custom Deliveries – Nitowikwe, and more role quests with Patch 7.16. Plus, there are updates for housing, Doman Mahjong, new PvP gear, mounts, minions, and emotes.
