Fortnite Festival Season 2 Features New Lady Gaga Skins & Songs

-

Oh boy, here we go. Fortnite Festival Season 2 is about to drop a bombshell on us this Thursday, Feb. 22. And guess what? Lady Gaga’s headlining. Yeah, you heard that right. Remember when she tweeted, “What’s fortnight?” back in 2019? Well, looks like she’s got her answer now.

So, Lady Gaga’s getting the royal treatment, just like The Weeknd did in Season 1. We’re talking a skin, a jam track, and some themed instruments in the new Festival Pass. Plus, another skin and a whole bundle of instruments and cosmetics in the item shop. Fancy, huh?

Now, for the juicy part. Season 2’s gonna feature eight new Lady Gaga tracks. We’ve got hits like Applause, Bloody Mary, Born This Way, The Edge of Glory, Just Dance, Rain on Me, and Stupid Love up for grabs in the item shop. And guess what? Poker Face is tagging along as part of the Season 2 Festival Pass. It’s like Christmas came early.

But wait, there’s more. Say goodbye to the Season 1 concert hall. It’s outta here. In comes a brand spanking new, Chromatica-themed venue. It’s gonna be wild, folks.

Let’s talk about the new pass for a sec. The premium track on the Season 2 Festival Pass? It’s gonna set you back 1800 V-Bucks. But hey, you get the Enigmatic Lady Gaga skin, some Chromatica-themed instruments, and the Poker Face song. Not too shabby. The free path’s not left out either. It’s got a new drum set, a new aura, and two emotes. Sweet deal.

Now, about the free track of the Festival Pass. It’s got three jam tracks this time, down from four in Season 1. But honestly, with all the Fortnite originals rather than licensed music, I doubt many will miss the fourth. Plus, there are new, free emotes on the free path. So, yeah, no biggie.

Like The Weeknd before her, Gaga’s gonna have her own tab in the Item Shop. It’ll be packed with a ton of cosmetics, including a combat-themed Chromatica Armor skin, a Chromatica bass and mic stand, the Stupid Love jam track, and the Rain Check emote. Presumably, it’ll stick around for the whole season.

And just like that, Season 2 of Fortnite Festival will zip by, wrapping up exactly two months later on April 22. Time flies when you’re having fun, right? So, mark your calendars, folks. It’s gonna be one heck of a season.
