This weekend marks the start of Fortnite Festival Season 5, featuring Karol G instead of Metallica.
Karol G is bringing a fresh vibe to the game with two new skins, one you can get with the Season 5 Festival Pass and the other from the item shop. Plus, there are new instruments, jam tracks, emotes, and other cool stuff. Next weekend, she’ll also have her own concert in Fortnite, and this season includes some much-needed improvements.
The Festival Pass for Season 5 is available for 1800 V-Bucks and includes both free and paid options. Right away, you’ll get the Bichota Season Karol G skin. As you progress through the pass, you’ll unlock a special mic stand and guitar themed around Karol G, along with four jam tracks: “Qlona” by Karol G, “My Oh My” by Ava Max, “The Nights” by Avicii, and “Take Over Control” by Afrojack and Eva Simons.
The free track has three jam tracks created by Epic Games themselves, an emote, an aura, and a super cool keytar at the end of the pass.
If you head to the item shop, you’ll find Karol G’s Bonita Jams bundle with two jam tracks and two emotes for her songs “Cairo” and “OKI DOKI.” Starting August 22, there’s even more: another Karol G bundle with a different skin, mic stand, back bling, wrap, and the “Provenza” jam track. All these items will be available until Season 5 ends.
Just like Metallica before her, Karol G will have a special concert experience in Fortnite during the second weekend of Season 5. From August 23 to August 26, players can enjoy a five-song concert called Karol G MSB Fortnite. If you play through it all the way to the end, you’ll get a beautiful Bichota Four-String Bass for free.
Even if you’re not into Karol G’s music style, there’s something for everyone this season–like bringing back a popular feature from before: the restart song button! This feature was initially removed due to some streaming errors but has now made its return. So if you mess up while playing Unsainted on Drums on stage alone again? No worries–just restart!
