As Fortnite gets ready to kick off Chapter 6 Season 1, it has wrapped up Remix Chapter 2 with a grand finale event, marking a new record for in-game concerts.
The Remix Finale event in Fortnite attracted over 14 million players, surpassing Travis Scott’s 2020 “Astronomical” concert, which drew in 12.3 million people. Ariana Grande’s Rift Tour in 2021 was also a big event, but Fortnite never shared how many players attended, suggesting it was less than Scott’s show.
You. Showed. Up.
More than 14 million concurrent players partied up for Remix: The Finale and more than 3 million estimated people streamed it online. This is a new Fortnite all-time record for an in-game concert – thank you!
We’re running it back at 8:00 PM ET tonight for…

Scott’s and Grande’s concerts ran five times each during their seasons, letting nearly 28 million unique players enjoy Scott’s performances. But this Remix Finale will only play one more time at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET today, right before Fortnite goes offline for the new chapter starting December 1.
This time, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD performed, with Juice WRLD appearing with approval from his family and label. Other big shows like The Kid Laroi’s and Metallica’s have happened since Grande’s, but they didn’t match the scale of the Remix Finale, which felt like a huge event, similar to Astronomical and Rift Tour, after a long three years.
Fans sometimes wonder if these events can get any bigger.
Even though this event was huge, it didn’t beat Fortnite’s biggest live event ever, the Marvel crossover in December 2020, which had 15.3 million players tuning in.
