GTA 6 Promises to Amaze, Says Ex-Developer

-

Ben Hinchliffe, once a mastermind at Rockstar Games, left the company in 2022 after shaping games like GTA V, Red Dead Redemption II, and the upcoming GTA VI.

Hinchliffe, speaking to GTA VI O’clock, shared that the new game will be a colossal hit in sales and have people buzzing for a long time, just like its predecessor, GTA V. “I think they’ve raised the bar again. They always do, and they have done again with GTA 6.”

In a tweet, it was noted that Ben, former lead designer, mentioned GTA VI is now in the bug-fixing stage. The game’s mission design, which allows player freedom, stands out. He’s also thrilled to witness the game’s transformation since he left in 2021. Full interview:

Fans are always curious about what’s next.

Ben is eager to see how GTA VI has grown since his departure in 2022, though he keeps details close to his chest. Currently, he works at Just Add Water, the creators of Sniper Elite VR.

Set for a holiday 2025 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, GTA VI transports players to Vice City, reminiscent of Miami. The first trailer dropped in early December 2023, but Rockstar Games has kept additional footage under wraps since then.

With GTA V’s massive success, selling over 200 million copies, expectations for GTA VI are sky-high. As Take-Two prepares to unveil its next earnings report on November 6, any news on GTA VI remains a mystery.
