For many years, players of Grand Theft Auto Online have roamed Los Santos freely, but now a long-awaited area is about to open up for a special zombie event.
Rockstar Games recently announced in their latest update that North Yankton will return in a community challenge where players must fend off waves of zombies. This snowy place was first seen in GTA 5’s beginning when Michael and Trevor faced big trouble during a bank heist. Before, players could only visit this place using sneaky glitches.
Even though Rockstar hasn’t shared all the info about the zombie mode yet, some folks at GamesRadar found hints of a survival mode, meaning it could be a battle against lots of zombies at once. It’s still unclear if the zombie chaos will spread beyond North Yankton into places like San Andreas or Los Santos. Additionally, there are spooky gifts for GTA+ members, like the scary HVY Nightshark SUV and some demon biker outfits, as noted by Rockstar here.
Fans always love a good zombie fight!
With GTA 6 expected in 2025, GTA Online might change a lot. But for now, players are still hooked on the game’s world and aren’t ready to say goodbye.
