Where do these pests hang out? Any planet in the Terminid systems is their playground. Look for the orange on the Galactic War table. They love crashing the party during dynamic bug events, bringing along their nasty friends. It’s a whole bug fiesta.
And if you’re venturing onto a bug-infested planet, especially above Trivial difficulty, brace yourself. You’re likely to encounter them. So, keep those eyes peeled. Don’t let them sneak up on you.
Killing Bile Spewers is a bit of a science. Despite your armor’s defense level, their bile attack is a one-shot kill if it hits directly. Learned that the hard way. That’s why I switched to Light Armor. Sure, it’s less durable, but the extra speed and stamina mean you can dodge those vile attacks.
The trick is to strafe. Left or right, doesn’t matter. Just don’t stand still. This tactic is golden for avoiding their bile attack. And if you’re up close, it might just save your skin by reducing the damage you take.
Aim for the head. It’s their Achilles’ heel. My weapon of choice? The Breaker automatic shotgun. It’s a beast up close. And if you prefer keeping your distance, the Grenade Launcher is your best friend. Plus, it takes care of any smaller bugs that decide to join the fray.
Defending a location? Sentries are your best bet. They clear out Bile Spewers before they become a real headache. And don’t forget the Mortar Sentry. Place it somewhere high, out of enemy reach. Oh, and a Guard Dog Rover as your backpack item? It keeps you mobile and dishes out damage. Every little bit counts.
