A surprising leak hints at a mix between Helldivers 2 and Killzone, introducing possible new gear.

, claims the crossover is named Righteous Revenants Warbond. This user, known for digging into game files, has also revealed the design of a new enemy group called the Illuminate. Floating around are
showing off some armors, featuring Killzone’s eerie gas masks and red-eyed look.
One armor, AC-1 Dutiful, can withstand fire, gas, acid, and electricity by 50%. The other, AC-2 Obedient, offers the same protection but trades some safety for better speed and stamina. Sony hasn’t confirmed any of this yet.
We think such crossovers are pretty exciting and make games more fun.
Earlier this year, Arrowhead Studios mentioned they were open to crossovers if they fit well. Since both Helldivers 2 and Killzone explore similar themes, this crossover seems to make sense. A Helldivers 2 and Halo crossover, however, appears unlikely as Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt shared.
Helldivers 2 just introduced the Illuminate faction, which players quickly defeated in less than a week. Plus, fans can preorder a special Helldivers 2 DualSense controller starting December 20. At The Game Awards 2024, the game snagged Best Ongoing Game and Best Multiplayer awards.
