Originally set for a Spring 2024 release, it’s now been nudged to Summer 2024. Why, you ask? Well, the teams want to sprinkle some extra magic on it, ensuring everything’s just perfect for its western debut. But hey, if you’re in Asia, you’re in luck! The game’s still dropping on March 14 for PS4 and PS5. And, oh! There’s a PC port in the works for the western release too.

If you’ve heard of Helldivers 2 making waves, well, Earth Defense Force has been at this game longer. Starting as Monster Attack in 2003, it’s had a few name changes before settling on Earth Defense Force.
EDF 6 first made waves in Japan in 2022. And guess what? There’s more on the horizon with Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, aiming for a 2024 launch. Keep those blasters ready, folks.
