NBA 2K25 has just been released for preorders, and players have already found a funny glitch in the game.
In MyPlayer mode, you create your own basketball player and live out their career. But now, there’s a bug that lets players clone their MyPlayer. So, some folks have been sharing their experiences on Reddit (via IGN). This glitch happens if you pick a different team from the one you played in the intro sequence of MyCareer.
Some players are having a blast with this glitch, sharing clips of their cloned MyPlayers doing cool moves. One player even posted a video called “Great Hustle from All 3 of Me,” showing their clones in action with an alley-oop.
But not everyone is happy. Some players are upset because the glitch messes with their MyPlayer stats, like cutting their points in half when they play against their clone.
Fans really want this bug to be fixed soon.
A 2K spokesperson said they’re looking into the issue. They’re tracking it on the official Discord, but nobody knows when it’ll be fixed. NBA 2K25 will be out on September 6 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
