Horizon Zero Dawn PC Delisted Before Remaster

-

Sony has revealed that Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a fresh version for PS5 and PC.

In a surprising twist, Sony has removed the original game from Steam and the Epic Games Store following this announcement. According to IGN, even though the Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition still appears on Steam, you can’t actually buy it anymore. Instead, fans are directed to purchase the remastered version or the sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. Moreover, the remastered version needs a PSN connection, which has upset many gamers, especially those who enjoy playing alone. This was a major reason why God of War Ragnarok faced backlash not too long ago.

The new version of Zero Dawn looks a lot like Forbidden West now, thanks to better character models and fancy new textures. Plus, they’ve added more than 10 hours of fresh motion capture performances to spice things up.

We wonder why Sony is making things so complicated for players.

On October 31, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be available for both PC and PS5. For those who already own the original, there’s a chance to grab the PS5 upgrade for just $10.
