Spider-Man 2 amazed everyone as one of the coolest PS5 games last year, and now it’s getting a boost with the PS5 Pro.
In a video, some developers from the Spider-Man 2 team show off how awesome the game looks on this more powerful console. They want players to decide if the improved graphics are worth spending $700 on the new system.
“When players play Marvel Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5 Pro, they are playing the quintessential version of the Spider-Man experience on the PlayStation 5,” said Bryan Intihar, the creative director at Insomniac Games. He explained that whether you’re swinging around the city at 60 frames per second or enjoying the amazing graphics, the Pro version offers something special.
Jacinda Chew, the senior art director, talked about all the shiny stuff in the game, like water, skyscraper windows, and Spider-Man’s goggles. These reflections are more noticeable on the PS5 Pro, which makes everything look even cooler.

Some folks might still be unsure about upgrading to the PS5 Pro, but Intihar is just glad players can decide what’s best for them.
The PS5 Pro is set to hit the shelves on November 7.
