In honor of The Last of Us Day, Sony revealed that The Last of Us Part I for PS5 is now available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers.
If you’ve never played this game before, now’s your chance to dive in through your PlayStation Plus account. This marks the game’s third release in 11 years. Alongside the game, Sony has introduced fun extras like avatars of Joel, Ellie, and a Clicker to spruce up your profile. To get these, you’ll need a voucher code from the PlayStation Plus site or The Last of Us page on your PS Plus hub. Don’t forget, these avatars are only available until October 26.
Over on Steam, you can also grab cool digital goodies, like a cordyceps start-up menu for your Steam Deck, avatars, and special reaction emojis and GIFs. Plus, if you’re a PlayStation Stars member and play The Last of Us Part I between now and November 26, you’ll earn a free Clicker digital collectible. How awesome is that?

Last year, Naughty Dog marked a decade of The Last of Us and had plans for an online game set in that universe. Although that project got canceled, they assured us there’s more to come from The Last of Us world.
