Less Annoying Companions in God of War Ragnarok

-

God of War Ragnarok is about to hit PCs, and there’s a cool new feature for cutting down on those pesky puzzle hints.

In the PlayStation Blog, Sony shared that you can now adjust how often characters like Atreus and Mimir drop hints. This setting is found in the Gameplay Settings tab. Some gamers found their chatter quite bothersome, even though the puzzles aren’t super hard.

Additionally, there’s a new feature called cinematic audio descriptions. This provides spoken descriptions of visual events during cutscenes, giving players with low vision more context and detail. You can turn this on in the audio accessibility menu.

Both of these features will soon be available on the console versions too, according to Sony.

God of War Ragnarok hits PCs on September 19. In their review, GameSpot stated, “Sony Santa Monica brings back what made the original God of War reboot great and delivers another fantastic story with exceptional writing.”

Fans love it when developers listen and make these cool updates!
